BWD are delighted to announce that they have successfully placed two of the three team members into fund of fund specialist T Bailey Asset Management.

July 2009 BWD secures panel placement with Santander

In its role BWD will mainly be assisting by identifying and recruiting experienced financial advisers across the UK. Sponsorship of the NSPCC’s Big Bike Ride

BWD are proud to be sponsoring the ‘BIG BIKE RIDE’ which is going to support the NSPCC’s Child’s Voice Appeal to raise £50 million for their vital helpline services. Director Gareth explained said “we are thrilled to be supporting such a worthy cause. The NSPCC do a fantastic job and, in addition to the ‘Big Bike Ride’, we will be supporting future fund raising events through the NSPCC as part of our CSR policy.”

BWD announce ‘record’ revenue levels

This event was held at Oulton Golf Club in Solihull on the 18^th September 2008. Chairperson Elect was Mr Keith Scott of Bright Grey.

We have been sponsoring the Birmingham Life Manager’s Golf Day every year our business has been established, something that we are really proud of. BWD open a Southern office

BWD are delighted to announce that they are opening a southern office based in Hemel Hempstead. The move to open the office is coupled with the recruitment of James Woods who will be joining BWD as an Associate Director, James has a good deal of experience recruiting in the financial services market and was a previous top biller at McKenzie Clarke. The Directors of BWD are confident that the office will be a great success and will give the additional exposure BWD have been looking for in the South.

In March 2008, BWD were approached by the Financial Advisor to comment on the ‘RDR’ paper’s focus on qualifications compared to the importance of Financial Advisers’ human interaction with their clients.

Winners of the ‘Best Recruitment Agency’ for 2007

In September of 2007 BWD were awarded with the accolade of ‘Best Recruitment Agency (Small) for 2007’ at a national awards ceremony, presented by leading UK magazine Financial Adviser. The award was based on the feedback given to Financial Adviser’s research team by our clients.

Director James Walker explained the recipe behind BWDs’ success: “In business you need a bit of luck, hard work and determination. We feel that credit must go to the Consultants who have joined our company in the past year – we were a new business and a new brand and they believed in what we set out to achieve.”
